Tommy co-founded Tribeca Care in 2013 and has led it as CEO through every stage of its growth โ€” from a Kolkata startup to the most trusted eldercare platform in Eastern India. He is based in London, and that is not incidental โ€” it is central to what Tribeca does. A very significant share of Tribeca's families are NRI families managing a parent's care from the UK, the US, Singapore, or the Gulf. Tommy understands that world intimately: the distance, the guilt, the difficulty of making consequential care decisions from 5,000 miles away. That connection gives Tribeca a credibility with the international segment that no India-only operator can replicate. In 2025, the John Armitage Charitable Trust named him a Churchill Fellow โ€” one of the UK's most competitive research fellowships โ€” to study how the world's best eldercare systems are designed and run.
